JOURNAL ENTRY LOG / 2026
Music Journal
Every song has a story.
This journal is where I share the moments behind each release. I pull experiences from every corner of my life: the trails I wandered, the campfires I sat beside; the conversations that stayed with me, and the events that shaped the person I am today.
These songs are stories. Stories of grief, hope, resilience, quiet mornings with coffee, the Appalachian Trail and all the wild places I visit, and by the long road of finding my way home to myself.
This isn’t a blog about my life as much as a window into the experiences that eventually became music.

Moss & Stone
When I think back on the Appalachian Trail, I don't remember one defining moment. I remember thousands of quiet ones.
The rain that brought the forests back to life, navigating the ice and snow runoffs, the creek crossings that forced me to stop and pay attention.
I remember mornings watching the mists rolling across the mountains, and how that same mist still greets me at home. It reminds me that I didn't leave the mountains behind.
Every day I carried my home on my back. Everything I truly needed fit inside that pack. Everything else stayed behind.
The transformation wasn't dramatic. It happened one mile at a time. It happened so slowly that I didn't even notice.
The trail didn't change who I was, it just uncovered the girl who'd been buried in there all along.
